Have you seen wasteful spending, unprofessional customer service or poor spending controls in a government institution? If so, report it!
Part of the role of a Member of Parliament (MP) is to hold the government to account for its spending plans. It is impossible for one MP to scrutinize all the spending of the federal government. The different accounting methods used by Parliament and the various government departments make it impossible. Taxpayers can play a role in pointing out unnecessary spending or waste and highlight the facts to their elected officials.
I am asking you to participate in holding the federal Liberal government accountable for its spending priorities and its spending practices.
Tom Kmiec, MP for Calgary Shepard
